First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov announced a new support program for parents to prepare their child for first grade. What can the financial assistance be spent on?
Under this program, parents and legal representatives of first-graders will receive a one-time grant of UAH 5,000 through the «Diya» app. It is assumed that these funds can be spent on children’s clothes and shoes, as well as stationery that will be needed at school. We are talking about online and regular stores.
«If your child has already been enrolled in grade 1, you will immediately receive a push notification in the Diya application,» explained Fedorov.

An application for assistance can be submitted until November 15, 2025. The credited funds will be available for spending within 180 days from the date of accrual.
«If the application does not display your child’s data, contact the school to check and, if necessary, correct the information about you and your child in the AICOM system. After that, the data will be uploaded to Diia within a week and you will be able to receive assistance,» the Ministry of Digital Transformation notes.
Recall that earlier the government adopted a resolution that allows the launch of the multi-account «Diya.Kartka». It eliminates the need to open several cards to receive various types of financial assistance from the state.
