Mytish reported this in an interview with Delo.ua.
«Almost immediately, the company launched the EPAM Response program. Thanks to this program, for four years the company has been providing support to defenders, families affected by the war, educational institutions, and state institutions. The total amount of assistance reached UAH 760 million,» said the vice president of EPAM Ukraine.
According to him, the company continues to invest in Ukrainian youth and their education during the war, because «IT is an industry where everything depends on talent.» Stepan Mytish indicated that EPAM Ukraine currently has over 50 signed agreements with universities to train students.
The company is also developing an “ IT for Veterans ” program, the first graduates of which are already working at EPAM as junior specialists. According to Mytish, in the future, veterans will make up a large part of the labor market.
«The company’s IT volunteers have updated about 40 websites for government agencies and public organizations, making them modern and accessible. The latest is the development of online AI assistants for the „Diya.Business“ portal, which will help entrepreneurs find solutions for developing their business faster,» the head of «EPAM Ukraine» recalled.
We remind you that last year, EPAM IT volunteers created the «Collect a Backpack» platform for the Leleka charity foundation, which is raising UAH 1 million to purchase 25 complete backpacks for combat medics.
