Anthropic has unveiled a set of 10 new AI agents designed to perform a wider range of tasks in the financial services industry.
The new AI agents can draft presentations for client meetings, analyze financial statements and submit cases for compliance reviews. They are aimed at professionals in banking, insurance, asset management and financial technology, Bloomberg reports .
“Finance is a great model for all other intellectual work,” said Nicholas Lin, head of financial products at Anthropic. Lin added that the use of AI in finance is “only a few months behind” the use of the technology in programming, “where we are seeing tremendous acceleration.”
Recall that in February, the company introduced plugins for Claude tailored for financial analysis, stock market research, private investments and wealth management. The same month, itintroduced a new model that it said was more tailored to financial research.
As part of the new offerings announced Tuesday, Anthropic said it is also optimizing Claude's AI model to work with third-party software such as Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. The model will also be able to integrate data from financial industry partners including Dun & Bradstreet and Moody's Corp.
Anthropic is also strengthening its ties to the financial industry through a new joint venture with Blackstone Inc., Hellman & Friedman and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. The alliance will work to bring Anthropic's software to more companies. OpenAI has already finalized plans to create a similar company.
