Anthropic has announced an expansion and simplification of the Claude Startups initiative for AI service founders. Participants in the updated program receive free Claude Team licenses, $1,000 in API credits, consulting support, and partner discounts. Ukrainian developers confirm that getting into the program has become really easier.
The update is reported on the Anthropic blog. At the same time, the company has significantly accelerated the processing of applications, as reported on the X network (Twitter) by Ukrainian IT expert Serhiy Chernenko, author of the Besidka AI chat.
The developer is developing the Besidka project, an open-source tool that allows users to work with various language models (Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Kimi, and Qwen) by connecting their own API keys without subscription fees or vendor margins.
According to the IT expert, he had previously applied to participate in Claude Startups, but did not receive a response. After the recent simplification of the procedure, the second attempt was successful — the application was approved in a few hours.
“Since yesterday, Claude has simplified the application program for startups. I have already applied before, but I did not receive a response. I decided to try again and this time everything happened very quickly. We were approved in a few hours. A year of work on Besedka has paid off, you could say. There will be more features,” Chernenko shared.
The developer noted that as part of the program, Anthropic is providing compensation for the use of Claude Team in the amount of $625 per month for a year. In monetary terms, this covers about 30 standard Pro accounts or 5 extended team licenses.
In addition to subscribing to the Claude Team tariff plan and $1,000 to the API account for initial testing of ideas, initiative participants receive access to the “Claude Startup Stack” package. It includes discounts and bonuses on software for development, design, and sales for a total of up to $45,000 from Anthropic partners.
Additional benefits include the opportunity to conduct virtual consultations with Anthropic’s Applied AI team, as well as practical assistance with integrating and adding your own products to the Claude Marketplace catalog.
“We created this program because we believe that the benefits of artificial intelligence will become available to most people precisely thanks to companies that create products based on models, not thanks to the models themselves,” Anthropic explains.
Startups founded within the last five years or those that have attracted investment within the last two years can apply to participate in Claude Startups.
Recall that Anthropic first presented the Claude Startups program in early 2026. During this time, dozens of young AI companies have joined the ecosystem and received priority access to the Claude model infrastructure.
