The web version of Claude Code is now available to subscribers of Anthropic's $20 monthly Pro plan, as well as the $100 and $200 per month Max plans, TechCrunch reports .
Pro and Max users can use Claude Code in a browser by visiting claude.ai (the same site as the main Anthropic chatbot) and going to the Code tab, or through the Claude app for iOS.
The web version of Claude Code allows users to start coding sessions without using a terminal. Each session runs in an isolated environment with network and file restrictions and real-time progress tracking.
Git operations are performed using a secure proxy service. According to Anthropic, developers can perform tasks in parallel across multiple repositories from a single interface and release products faster with automatic pull request generation and clear summary of changes.
In addition to web browsers, the research preview makes Claude Code available on the Anthropic iOS app. The company hopes to quickly improve the mobile experience based on user feedback.
