The launch of the new tool was announced by the bank’s co-founder Oleg Gorohovsky on his social networks. According to him, the mechanics of the work resemble classic auctions: the seller indicates the minimum price, and interested buyers compete for the goods. After the deadline, payment and shipment are made through the bank’s tools. The funds received can be kept for yourself or directed to charitable projects.
To demonstrate the work of the updated platform, Oleg Gorohovsky was the first to put up for auction interesting lots. Among them are a rare backpack with patches and a unique iron card with serial number 0001, which includes two years of free service. Also on the auction was a branded two-sided vest for a mono support worker, which gives access to secret skins in the application.
«Only mono support workers have a reversible vest. On one side, it is white, and if you wear it inside out, it will be black. I highly recommend it — I wear it almost every day. Better than Brunello Cucinelli,» the bank’s co-founder noted.
The initial price of Gorokhovsky’s lots ranged from UAH 2,000 to UAH 4,000, but within half an hour the bids had skyrocketed. Currently, about UAH 2 million is being offered for each of the items put up for auction by the co-founder of monobank.
The launch of the auctions also has a charitable component. Gorokhovsky promised to double all sales contributions to the «Angels» patronage service by May 27. This applies to both «star» lots and regular user ads.
Recall that in December 2025, monobazar appeared on monomarket. In two weeks, the total sales volume amounted to 30 million UAH, and a month later the service gathered more than 850,000 registered users and more than 340,000 active ads. In March, the service received new functionality — funds from the sale of things can be directed to a collection or charity fund.
