Co-founder of the Ukrainian startup Banani AI, which develops an artificial intelligence-based tool for quickly and easily creating interface designs, Vladyslav Solomakha said on LinkedIn that the project raised €850,000 in a pre-seed round from Estonian technology investor Specialist VC and Polish venture capital firm Inovo VC.

The money, Solomakha said, is needed to reimagine the product design stage in a new era after artificial intelligence. «Thousands of designs are already generated every day using our platform, we’re just getting started!» he wrote .
The startup’s goal is to make the process of creating beautiful UIs accessible to everyone: startup founders, project managers, teams with limited design resources. The Banani AI tool turns a text description of a design or idea into a full-fledged interactive UI prototype. It can be edited using simple language, and you can also share your designs or export them to any format you want.
According to him, the team is currently looking for new employees.

Banani AI has already received investor attention: in late 2024, the startup received a $50,000 grant from the Ukrainian Startup Fund with the support of the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund. At the same time, the startup was selected to represent Ukraine at the AI Summit in the USA, which took place from December 11 to 12. In addition, Banani AI received €25,000 in funding from the Seeds of Bravery consortium.
