Base44 has added its “super agents” to WhatsApp group chats. Telegram is next. How can this be useful?

As dev.ua was informed by the press service, it is planned to integrate this function into Telegram soon.
Thus, from now on, users can add an AI agent directly to a WhatsApp group, where it will participate in conversations, respond to messages, and act on behalf of group members.
Recall that Base44 introduced a new Superagent feature in March: an AI agent can perform tasks, automate workflows, and connect to external tools. Until now, you could only interact with Superagent in person through the Base44 interface or mobile messengers.
In particular, a Superagent can act as a personal assistant, analyst, support specialist, or project coordinator.
Each Superagent can perform scheduled tasks, including creating daily summaries, weekly reports, or reminders, and automatically respond to changes in connected applications. Superagents can integrate with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Notion, and HubSpot, and pull context from files and memory.
«As soon as an agent creates a group in WhatsApp or is added to an existing chat, it starts working as a personal manager: it studies the context of the group, follows the user’s instructions, connects to calendars and mail, and schedules meetings. The user decides whether Superagent will respond to every message or only when it is mentioned, and the entire group will receive the response at once,» the press service described this functionality.
Superagent can also take on everyday tasks, such as booking a restaurant table on your behalf. Meanwhile, parents can use Superagent to monitor their child’s school website.
The developers of «superagents» remind that integration with WhatsApp is already available worldwide, and support for group chats in Telegram is under development.
