The Ministry of Digital Transformation begins testing the basic social assistance service in "Diia"
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov spoke about the start of testing in «Diia» of a service that combines all social payments into one service.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov spoke about the start of testing in «Diia» of a service that combines all social payments into one service.
«We are starting a beta test of a service that has no analogues in other countries. This is a comprehensive service that will combine all social payments into one,» the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation said.
According to him, the service is intended for Ukrainians who already receive various social benefits from the state: assistance to low-income families; child benefits for single mothers; temporary assistance for children whose parents evade paying child support or whose whereabouts are unknown.
«The amount of payments is calculated individually, you will only need to submit an application in the „Diia“ application. Although previously, for this you had to personally contact a state institution, collect documents, fill out applications manually, etc.,» explained the First Deputy Prime Minister.
Fedorov also spoke about other services that the «Diia» development team is currently working on. He noted that by the end of the year, it is planned to launch the «foundation» of the «eNotariat» service, which allows you to receive notary services online even from abroad. The service itself should be launched next year.
Diya is also beta-testing the «eExcise» system, which allows you to scan an electronic stamp and check the legality of a product. Its launch is also planned for 2026.
This fall, «Diia» plans to launch a service for veterans — «The Path of the Wounded».
«This is a comprehensive service for military personnel and their families. With one application, a person will be able to receive the status of a person with a disability as a result of the war, cash assistance, social services and benefits, etc.», — Mykhailo Fedorov described the service.
He added that a number of services are also being digitized for the relatives of fallen or deceased military personnel. In particular, granting the status of a family member of the deceased, one-time cash assistance, and social services.
«Please make a will in «Diya». The Ministry of Digital Affairs is already digitizing notary services, and in some countries of the world a will can be drawn up online. Should Ukrainians wait for an e-Will?
