Ukrainian iOS app for apartment rentals bird has launched in Warsaw. The Polish capital has become the second city outside of Ukraine where the service is available. In the European market, the app operates under the name birb.
The development team announced the expansion of the geography of the dev.ua project. For Ukrainians living in Poland, the application’s authors have prepared a special offer — free three-month access to a paid subscription that allows you to view the contacts of the owners in the ads.
The key features of the product remain a 3D map with accurate location display, detailed search filters, and an ad aggregator from various specialized platforms.
While adapting the service to the Polish market, the development team implemented several new features, which are currently being tested only in Warsaw.
«We have long wanted to launch bird for Warsaw, as there are many Ukrainians living there, and the rental market is very tense. We studied the Polish market, collected knowledge and user feedback to create the same high-quality product as in Ukraine. While working on Warsaw, we added features that are not even available in the Ukrainian application yet — for example, detailed monumental buildings on the map, search by commute time, and detailed ad characteristics. We plan to transfer these features to the Ukrainian version in the future,» said the project founder Arseniy Feshchenko.
Currently, only the iOS version of the product is available to users. After analyzing the first reviews and adapting the interface, the developers plan to release a version for Android.
Warsaw became the second foreign metropolis for the startup — the first foreign platform for scaling was London, where the service entered in 2022.
