A new James Bond game called 007 First Light has officially appeared in the Ukrainian segment of the PlayStation Store, simultaneously with the global release. Previously, the project by IO Interactive was unavailable to Ukrainian players on PlayStation, but Ukrainian journalist Vladislav Nuzhnov managed to reach the developers.

Previously, the project by IO Interactive was unavailable to Ukrainian players on PlayStation, but Ukrainian journalist Vladislav Nuzhnov managed to reach the developers.
He said this on the social network X (Twitter). Ukrainian users reported that for several months in a row they had not been able to legally purchase games from IO Interactive, in particular Hitman World of Assassination. The blocking caused a wave of indignation in the Ukrainian gaming community, which demanded official explanations from Sony and the developers. The situation was complicated by the fact that 007 First Light was available for purchase on Steam.
Journalist Vladislav Nuzhnov decided to take the initiative into his own hands and directly contacted IO Interactive and PlayStation support, convincing them to return the games to the Ukrainian market. The result of these communications was the release of 007 First Light first on the Epic Games Store in Ukraine, and later on the Ukrainian PS Store.
Nuzhnov himself called this case a vivid example of the effectiveness of the gaming community: «A small step for a person from Twitter is a big step for the Ukrainian gaming community.» He thanked the companies for getting in touch and supporting his idea.
«Ukrainians are a very energetic and persistent people, so I would like all the enthusiasm to go to such things. They hear us and are ready to help. We need to use this… All this had to be done in order to read the joy of the military that they can play Bond on their PlayStations,» the journalist added.
007 First Light was released on May 26th and received very positive reviews from players and game critics. In Ukraine, the game costs 2300 UAH on the PS Store and 1600 UAH on Steam.
