Buntar Aerospace presented the results of real combat missions of the Buntar-3 reconnaissance complex.

The Ukrainian development, built on the basis of Buntar Copilot software, can stay in the air for 3.5 hours, covers an 80 km tactical radius, can detect targets at a distance of up to 15 km and works without GPS. Buntar-3 also has a high level of resistance to electronic warfare.

These birds are used by units defending the Bryansk, Belgorod, Kupyansk, Lysychansk, Pokrovsky, Kurakhiv, and Svatyiv directions.

The Buntar-3 complex, according to the developers, functions as a holistic system — from mission planning to analytics, with a single control interface through its own software.

About Buntar Aerospace

The startup was founded in August 2023 by Ivan Kaunov, Kateryna Bezsudnaya, and Bohdan Sas. The company combines military and startup experience, which allows the team to approach improving defense products from a technical point of view.

As previously reported by the startup, the team is working on developing two products:

— Buntar Copilot: software for planning and executing reconnaissance missions that generates dynamic flight plans, taking into account all tactical and technical details: situational awareness, weather forecast, altitude map, signal maps and other sources. It automates 90% of the UAV operator’s work in planning and managing missions, and is also compatible with other UAVs.

— the previous version of the drone — Buntar One. This is a tactical-level reconnaissance UAV with an additional camera and an AI-based visual navigation module.

In June of this year, Uklon’s co-founders made their first major investment — $200,000 in Buntar Aerospace. As of early summer, the Buntar Aerospace team had raised $2.2 million in investment.
