According to Yakovenko, this is not a new experiment for him. His basic expertise is logistics and international trade. He founded his first business more than 10 years ago, while still a student, and it was a logistics project. It was with operational logistics, the entrepreneur notes, that his systematic work with contracts, procurement, and finance began.
Today, TAF Industries’ main focus is the defense sector. At the same time, trade finance, procurement and logistics remain among the company’s core competencies. These tools are used in cooperation with defense market players to ensure contract fulfillment, speed of deliveries and support liquidity. The company now plans to scale this model to other sectors of the economy.
According to the entrepreneur, this is not about classic business lending or logistics as a separate function. The company is building a system in which financing is integrated directly into the procurement and delivery process. Risk management is carried out through product control and financial instruments, and a specific transaction or delivery is financed.
«I am looking for a CEO who can develop this direction into an independent scalable business model. I need someone with a deep logistics background, understanding of international trade and proven business management experience,» Yakovenko noted. He added that this is not a military vacancy.
