The Ukrainian Council of Arms Manufacturers will be headed by Maksym Vasylchenko, co-founder and CEO of Tencore, a company that produces ground robotic systems. He will replace Oleksandr Kamyshin as chairman of the board.

The Ukrainian Council of Gunsmiths announced the changes.

Vasylchenko has been on its board since the organization's inception. He also heads the Ukrainian Robotic Forces Association, which unites manufacturers of NRCs and related technologies.

Oleksandr Kamyshin will remain on the board and focus on international and investment cooperation, in particular, he will continue to develop the UCDI Investor Club. The club currently unites 24 investment funds.

Tencore was co-founded by Vasylchenko during a full-scale war. The company produces the TerMIT ground robotic complex. Tencore began operations in February 2024 and produced the first 10 vehicles within a month. According to the company, TerMIT consists of 95% Ukrainian components.

The new Chairman of the Council also has experience in international scaling, one of the areas that the Ukrainian defense industry is currently actively engaged in. In February 2026, Tencore and German FERNRIDE agreed to create a joint venture for the production of TerMIT in Germany. And in April, Tencore and French Shark Robotics agreed to launch two joint ventures for the development and production of ground robotic complexes.

And in August, Tencore signed a memorandum with the Danish Copenhagen Global. The companies plan to cooperate within the framework of Build with Ukraine and promote Ukrainian ground robotic platforms among Danish customers.

Here, Vasylchenko's experience intersects with one of the areas of work of the Council of Gunsmiths, as the Council helps Ukrainian manufacturers work with the Build with Ukraine model, a state initiative that involves joint production of Ukrainian weapons with foreign partners abroad.

Previously, Tencore CEO Maksym Vasylchenko told dev.ua that to meet the needs of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, about 40,000 NRCs may be needed per year — along with operators, repair infrastructure, and components.
