This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
At the same time, the Ministry of Defense noted that the share of imported military goods decreased from 54% to 18% over the year.
In total, the volume of purchases from domestic manufacturers reached almost UAH 430 billion.
"Focusing on the domestic market allows manufacturers to scale, innovate faster, and supply the military with solutions adapted to the real needs of the front, while reducing dependence on external supplies," said Arsen Zhumadilov, director of the Defense Procurement Agency of the DOT.
In 2026, DOT plans to improve its procurement approach. When contracting with suppliers, additional criteria will be taken into account, including localization of production and diversification of supply.
