“A person can choose the “pay a fine” function and do it not for 17,000, but for 8,500 UAH.” Chernogorenko explained why the fines in the “Reserve” were made by analogy with fines for traffic violations
According to Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization, they decided to pay fines for violators of military registration through «Reserve+» with the possibility of a 50% discount, because this practice has proven itself successfully with fines for violators of traffic rules.
According to Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization, they decided to pay fines for violators of military registration through «Reserve+» with the possibility of a 50% discount, because this practice has proven itself successfully with fines for violators of traffic rules.
«We adopted a separate law, which was developed by the Ministry of Defense together with people’s deputies, it allows paying a fine through „Reserve+“ with a 50% discount. It will work like this: a person who understands that he has violated the rules of military registration, is notified about it through „Reserve+“, he can choose the function to pay the fine and do it not for 17 thousand UAH, but for 8.5 thousand UAH. This practice is not new. We have such a practice regarding traffic violations and in fact we are following this positive practice here,» Chernogorenko explained.
According to her, the option to pay fines online with a 50% discount for failure to appear at the CCC should appear in the application in 3-4 weeks.
She also added that digitizing all 35 types of deferrals remains one of the ministry’s top priorities in the digital sphere.
Previously, she promised the appearance of new deferrals in «Reserve+», in particular, for people with temporary unfitness for military service from 6 to 12 months, as well as for people who have a spouse in the military and a child under 18 years old.
