IT company EPAM Systems has announced a partnership with AI programming platform Cursor. What is the goal of the partnership?
«By combining Cursor’s AI-powered IDE with EPAM’s AI/Run solution, this partnership takes enterprises beyond AI-powered programming pilots and delivers measurable productivity gains, consistent quality, and an improved development experience for thousands of engineers», EPAM noted.
The company believes this allows organizations to more quickly implement AI-based workflows that optimize programming.
«While most large enterprises have invested in AI programming tools, many teams face challenges with full implementation and daily use», said Dmitry Tovpeko, Vice President of AI-Native Engineering at EPAM.
The company talks about scaling AI-based workflows and «deploying Cursor to thousands of developers.»
In the fall, Cursor, a startup that creates the eponymous vibecoding platform, raised a new $2.3 billion investment round. Google and Nvidia joined the funding, and the company’s valuation increased to $29.3 billion.
