Bloomberg reports that the round was led by Accel and Coatue. In June, Cursor, formerly known as Anysphere, had already raised $900 million, and its valuation had risen to $9.9 billion. The updated valuation of the company is almost three times higher than the previous figure, at $29.3 billion.
Cursor was launched in 2023 and has now become an essential tool for programmers at companies like OpenAI, Instacart, Spotify, and Uber. The company reports that its annual revenue has exceeded $1 billion.
