In addition, another important personnel appointment took place in the aforementioned center — the role of the STO was taken by Dmytro Ovcharenko, AI STO of the Ministry of Digital Affairs and Technical Director of WINWIN Al Center of Excellence.
«After its launch, the center focused on basic areas: working with data, building infrastructure, and forming a team. Today, it functions as a full-fledged structure that combines the development, research, and implementation of AI solutions,» the press service of the Ministry of Defense noted.
The center’s key focus is data. In addition, its team is working on developing:
Danylo Tsvok previously led the launch of key state AI projects: Diya.AI, the national LLM, and the AI development strategy until 2030. In parallel, he worked on defense AI solutions and developed partnerships with Big Tech companies.
Under the leadership of Dmytro Ovcharenko, in turn, the leadership launched the state AI infrastructure, in particular the AI Factory, and also created key AI solutions, including Diya.AI.
