The accelerator for Ukrainian defense startups, Defence Builder, has opened a new intake for its acceleration program. What conditions does it offer?
Defence Builder is looking for startups that already have a working prototype of the product, tested in combat or field conditions, and with feedback from the military. The accelerator informed dev.ua about this.
The second program will prioritize teams working on electronic warfare, UAVs, interceptors, and software.

«Ukraine’s defense industry is developing rapidly, and startups should strengthen the technological advantage of our military. The first batch of Defence Builder showed that with proper support, startups can more quickly create solutions that are needed on the battlefield. We took into account previous experience, improved the program, and strengthened mentoring support. The second batch will be even more focused on the needs of teams ready to create breakthrough technologies,» said Kateryna Bezsudna, co-founder and CEO of Defence Builder.
Three startups from the first program adapted their products to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and three teams successfully tested their technologies in combat conditions, the accelerator notes.
Recall that Defence Builder was launched in the spring of 2024. Project co-founder Kateryna Bezsudna told dev.ua how the accelerator and the process of merging defense solutions work, who finances the organization’s activities, and how the project team provides participants with access to investors.
