A team of Ukrainian developers announced the launch of DevLovers, a free online platform for preparing for technical IT interviews.
The launch was announced by the project’s co-founder, software engineer Viktor Svertoka.
«We’ve been quietly working on this for the past few months — and today we’re launching DevLovers. A free platform for preparing for IT interviews. No water. No subscriptions. No ‘PRO stack,’» he wrote.
DevLovers is an open platform with materials for preparing for technical interviews. It currently contains over 1000 of the most popular questions in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue, Node and other areas; quizzes for self-testing; a rating and achievement system; a blog with basic topics for beginners.
According to the team, the idea came from the fragmentation of training materials: developers have to search for questions and explanations on dozens of different sites. DevLovers brings it all together in one place and makes it available for free.
The project is being created by a team of Ukrainian developers from Ukraine, Europe, and the USA. The launch took place symbolically on February 14 — «with love for the code and our dev community,» the founders note.
Adding new areas to the project roadmap — QA, DevOps, Data; launching a practical sandbox for practicing skills; personal roadmaps for specific roles; networking with mentors.
DevLovers' goal is to help candidates get offers, not just prepare «for the check mark.»
The team also encourages the community to support the project with feedback and a star on GitHub.
