Recall that the day before, Monobank co-owner Oleg Gorohovsky shared a story — according to him, one of the financial institution’s clients conducted video verification in the banking application against the background of the Russian flag. Because of this, the bank, as he reported, blocked her accounts.
«Supporters of Russian peace in Ukraine will not have any protection of personal data. After 12 years of war, we cannot guarantee any data protection for collaborators. If you love Russia, avoid us by the tenth road,» Gorokhovsky further commented on this case.
However, as it turned out, «not everything is so clear-cut.» For example, military and public activist Serhiy Gnezdilov wrote that he managed to contact a girl who suddenly became famous throughout Ukraine.
He explained that Karina actually moved from Kharkiv to Slovenia as a refugee, and then ended up in Germany. According to the girl, she allegedly conducted the video verification while visiting a friend, who has a Slovenian flag hanging on the wall. The girl’s father, according to Gnezdilov, is in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Approximately the same information was made public by journalist Zoya Kazanzhi, also publishing a screenshot from social networks, where the girl supposedly appears with her father.
Later,a post appeared on the Threads network by Karina Kolb herself, who said that she had received a lot of hate, although she herself had never had pro-Russian sentiments, because her «whole family is at war.» «In this video, they exposed me as complete shit, and poured mud on me for no reason,» she stated.
