Djinni reveals competition for IT jobs: every fifth frontend vacancy collects over 100 reviews
Candidates for front-end positions compete much more fiercely than other IT professionals: approximately every fifth online vacancy for front-end developers receives 100 or more reviews, while only 2,7% of all vacancies on the market have such reviews.

This is evidenced by the data of the job search service Djinni, published in the official Telegram channel of the service. According to Djinni statistics, in the QA direction the share of «overheated» vacancies with 100+ reviews is 16%. In product management and design, this figure is kept at around 10%. In contrast, among approximately 1,700 marketing positions, only four have received more than a hundred reviews, which demonstrates a significantly lower concentration of candidates per vacancy.
Separately, Djinni gives examples of record holders in terms of the number of reviews. The absolute leader was Middle Front-End Developer (React) with 633 reviews. It is followed by Junior Project Manager in IT with 489 candidates. Among creative professions, the position of Middle/Senior UX/UI Designer stands out with 342 reviews, and in testing, one of the manual QA vacancies received 338 reviews.
An interesting detail of the market is that an HR position has made it to the top for the first time: the HR operations manager / corporate culture manager vacancy has collected 331 reviews. Among developers, there is also a Full Stack/JavaScript position with 235 reviews and the role of Senior Python Developer or Data Engineer with 227 reviews. In marketing, there is a noticeable excitement around the Junior idea generator and Trends Researcher, which has collected 213 reviews, and among analysts, one of the Senior Data Analyst vacancies has collected 184 candidates.
The background of this statistic is the several-year decline in the number of IT vacancies on the Ukrainian market and the increase in competition among specialists, especially at the junior and middle levels. For a candidate, more than 100 reviews under one position mean that the employer can choose only a few people from a large pool of resumes. For companies, this is a signal that even niche roles in popular areas can now be closed much faster, and the requirements for candidates are increasing.
