Ukrainian company DoD Solution and Lithuanian RSI Europe created an MVP of an artificial intelligence-based FPV ambush system — Pochekun — in less than 24 hours. The development was presented at the first BraveTechEU DefTech Forge in Estonia.

The company announced this on LinkedIn.

What kind of project is this?

The joint concept combined DoD Solution’s autonomous and AI-assisted drone operator technology with RSI Europe’s European FPV platform and expertise in remotely controlled defense systems.

According to Roman Gapachyl, CEO of DoD Solution, this is a prime example of what innovative teams with a shared mission can create when they act quickly.

DoD Solution notes that participation in the forge complemented the extensive validation work the company is already conducting in Ukraine, adding a valuable external perspective in the form of direct feedback from European military users and technical experts.

What is BraveTechEU DefTech Forge

DefTech Forge is a strand of the BraveTechEU program, a partnership between the Ukrainian defense cluster Brave1, the European Commission, and the European Defense Agency. It is not a typical bootcamp or accelerator for early ideas: the organizers select startups, scaleups, and small and medium-sized businesses whose products have already reached Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4 and above — that is, solutions that have gone beyond the concept and can demonstrate validation at the component or system level.

The first forges took place in June 2026 in France and Estonia; winners receive up to €120,000 in funding and the opportunity to test the product in front of military users and potential buyers. The next forges are scheduled for November 2026.
