The presentation took place at the Defense Tech Valley 2025 investment summit by Brave1, reports Military.
Cargo’s development began before the full-scale Russian invasion. The manufacturer’s website states that in civilian use it is used for monitoring forest fires and transporting cargo.
After the outbreak of the Great War, the complex underwent several upgrades based on combat experience and user feedback. As a Cargo bomber, it can carry three small bombs weighing 8.5 kg each, or one weighing 25 kilograms.
The flight range depends on the payload and can reach up to 500 km. The Spartacus website notes that the maximum flight altitude is 3 km and the speed is 115 km/h. However, these may be the characteristics of the civilian version of the drone, and the military modification has improved parameters.
Cargo can take off from a short runway or be launched from a catapult. The drone can land manually, automatically, or with a parachute.
In addition to Cargo, Spartacus produces Ares and Eagle aircraft-type reconnaissance drones, as well as the X3 UAV.
