«Drones are the new M16: at a minimum, everyone should be able to use them, at most, they should be able to maintain them a little», Zubenko noted in his LinkedIn post.
According to him, Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine has shown that NATO armies need to adapt to constant change and build flexible mass-produced systems, including drones that can be updated every 2 months.
Maksym Zubenko also emphasized the importance of decentralization. He said that the experience of R&D teams shows that quick decisions and autonomous teams provide maximum efficiency.
«I asked the audience how many of them had flown drones at least once — about 5%. And the majority would have. Because today, a drone is a basic battlefield tool, just like an assault rifle,» noted a representative of Dwarf Engineering.
Previously, CEO and co-founder of Dwarf Engineering Vladislav Piotrovsky spoke about the future expansion of the development team and the biggest difficulties the company faces when hiring specialists.
