The top manager announced his decision on his LinkedIn page. Friday, May 29, 2026, was his last working day at the company.
Oleksiy Ruban joined the team in November 2017 as the Head of Product Development in the Business Development Department. Since March 2018, he has headed the Information Technology Department, and later took the position of Director of Innovation, combining IT, business development, and project management.
According to Ruban, during this time the fintech company has transformed from a cash withdrawal service at Nova Poshta branches to a full-fledged financial ecosystem. Among the main achievements of his team, the specialist highlighted the expansion of its own R&D center from 10 to 300 engineers, obtaining a license to open accounts, launching a mobile application «from scratch» in eight months, and forming a loan portfolio of over UAH 2 billion.
«I combined business development, IT and project management — and this is a unique position. You simultaneously hear „we need this“, „technically it doesn’t work like this“, „we don’t have the resources“ — and your task is to find the right path. Sometimes it is there. Sometimes you have to invent it,» Ruban noted. The expert added that he is currently open to new offers on the market.
