OnlyFans owner Leonid Radvinsky received a record $701 million in dividends last year. The service is being prepared for a potential sale for several billion dollars.
Previously, Radvinsky received dividends of over $1 billion from OnlyFans, The Guardian reports.
In 2024, the company paid $497 million in dividends to its parent company Fenix International, which is owned by Radvinsky, which is $472 million more than in fiscal year 2023. During December-April, the company paid its owner another $204 million in five tranches.
Last year, OnlyFans generated revenue of $1.4 billion, up 9% from the previous year. Pre-tax profit rose 4% to $683.6 million. Overall, the company earned $7.2 billion from its subscribers in 2024, up $6.6 billion from the previous year.
In May, Fenix held talks to sell the business for $8 billion to a consortium of investors led by the American investment firm Forest Road Company.
The OnlyFans audience continues to grow, and the total number of accounts of (mostly adult) content creators, who pay the platform a 20% commission on their earnings, increased by 13% to 4.6 million. Their total number of subscribers increased by 24% to 377.5 million.
The company said that «significant growth and profitability» were driven by an increase in the number of users on the platform and increased revenues for existing content creators.
OnlyFans was founded in 2016 by British entrepreneur Tim Stockley. In 2018, it was sold for an undisclosed sum to Leonid Radvinsky, a native of Odessa, a former owner of adult websites.
In 2022, Radvinsky donated $5 million to aid Ukraine, and also donated funds to a cancer charity, an animal welfare organization, and a skin disease research foundation.
