This is reported by «Military». According to the commander with the call sign «Velbot», this is the fourth special separate unit of the Defense Forces and it is still being formed.
«We are currently working on refining the concept of our unit and on our tasks for the next six months», says the commander.
«Whalebot» assured that the division is not going to use «manpower», but will focus specifically on unmanned systems.
Previously, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to form a separate branch of the army of unmanned air defense systems. Its task is to close the «rear dome» over cities and critical infrastructure, complementing tactical aviation and air defense systems.
Recall that in December last year, the Security Service of Ukraine conducted a special operation in the port of Novorossiysk and for the first time struck a Russian Varshavyanka-class submarine using underwater drones.
