E-services aggregator Egov.in.ua is scaling to the European market. The platform has launched a localized version in France called iGov.fr, which brings together over 1,500 local services.
Representatives of Egov.in.ua announced the launch of the new dev.ua platform. The company noted that the French version of the platform works on the basis of open data and is designed to simplify navigation through the local e-government system, which is often fragmented due to division into municipal, regional, and national portals.
At launch, the iGov.fr catalog includes over 1,500 services, divided into more than 100 categories. All services are structured around clear thematic areas: from justice and complex administrative procedures to transport, employment, education, and social support.
«France is one of the most digitalized countries in the EU, but even here, users often encounter a dispersion of services across various departmental websites. That is why we need to launch iGov France in such a strong, but at the same time complex digital environment,» said the project founder, Igor Nikolaev.
According to him, the platform has become an example of transferring the Ukrainian logic of digitalization, where the focus is on speed and user convenience, rather than the structure of the state apparatus. The developers' goal is to demonstrate how Ukrainian approaches to interfaces and data architecture can complement and strengthen European systems.
The Egov.in.ua platform began operating in Ukraine in March 2020 as a private initiative to structure and simplify access to various government services. France has become the third foreign market for the project. Previously, the developers successfully adapted the platform architecture to the requirements and open data of Poland (Egov.com.pl) and the USA (Egovinusa.com).
The Egovinusa.com service, an American analogue of the Ukrainian aggregator of electronic services from Ukrainian developers, has launched in the USA. What is known about it?
