According to Reuters, this company was founded by former US submarine commander Charles Maher with a focus on maritime intelligence and security issues.
«Once fully deployed, there will be four squadrons of 12 ships… And these squadrons will operate 10-12 kilometers offshore,» Maher explained.
According to him, the first squadron, armed with missiles and interceptor drones, could be put into operation as early as 2027.
The publication reports that BlueShadow was among the startups working with the Defense Builder accelerator.
As dev.ua wrote, Colonel Yelizarov previously spoke about the problems of small air defense and interceptor drones flying at 700 km/h.
