Tesla will publish financial results for the fourth quarter after the market closes on January 28. According to Forbes, this allowed Musk to become 1.7% richer and reach almost $800 billion in net profit.
Earlier this month, Tesla reported that it produced just over 434,000 vehicles and delivered about 418,000 for the quarter, down 16% from the same period in 2024. That dropped Tesla to second place behind China's BYD as the world's largest electric vehicle maker, after BYD reported a 28% jump in annual sales to 2.26 million units.

His wealth has grown as SpaceX was valued at $800 billion , significantly higher than its previous valuation of $400 billion in August 2025, and the Delaware Supreme Court overturned a ruling that invalidated Tesla stock options, which are now worth about $126 billion.
