One of the country’s largest IT distributors, ERC, announced the opening of a new large warehouse after the destruction of its office and warehouse complex in a Russian attack on the night of July 2.
According to the company’s press service, the opening of a new large warehouse, which will serve as an additional remote warehouse, will take place on Tuesday, July 7. In particular, it is planned to unload detained cargo from dozens of trucks with goods that have already been received and begin the first large wholesale shipments.
ERC also plans to accept new batches of products, form an assortment at a new location, and resume delivery through various channels.
Next — the arrival of new batches of goods, the restoration of the product range in all directions and all services that were forcibly and so meanly stopped by the enemy! — added the ERC.
As a reminder, the ERC office and warehouse complex was completely destroyed as a result of a night strike by enemy ballistics. Also, a warehouse of the MOYO electronics store chain, which is part of the ERC group, was destroyed at the location.
The damaged real estate and property were insured, so the company is assessing the damage to obtain insurance compensation. In addition, the group is preparing documents to file claims for compensation for losses caused by Russia to international courts and jurisdictions of countries where Russian assets are frozen.
Work to eliminate the consequences is ongoing at the fire site (final extinguishing, according to the forecasts of the State Emergency Service, will take another 4-5 days), however, the company has switched to parallel work at new sites to ensure uninterrupted supply of equipment.
