«The problem of the CCC cannot be ignored. After a comprehensive audit, we will propose a systemic solution to solve the problems accumulated over the years and at the same time preserve the country’s defense capability,» he noted in his speech before his appointment.
The minister also added that one of the first decisions in the defense post will be to ensure a basic level of drone crewing, which is definitely lacking. «This will increase predictability and the quality of planning,» he said.
According to the official, an in-depth audit of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be conducted in the near future to find additional opportunities to improve the financial and social level of support for military personnel.
As a reminder, the parliament voted to appoint Mykhailo Fedorov as head of the Ministry of Defense.
