The Serhiy Prytula Foundation, together with the 412th Nemesis Brigade and the Ukrainian World Congress, announced one of the largest fundraising events of all time, the goal of which is to raise UAH 1 billion for interceptor drones to destroy enemy «shaheeds».

The goal of the «United Gathering», as reported by the press service of the fund, is to purchase «Shaheed» interceptor drones and equip the crews of operators with the necessary equipment.

Large Ukrainian companies have already joined the collection: Nova Poshta donated UAH 20 million, Uklon donated UAH 15 million, and the WOG gas station chain donated UAH 10 million. Many other companies donated amounts from UAH 1 to 10 million.

«Shahed interceptors are no longer just an alternative to traditional air defense means — they are a game changer and a key tool in terms of effectiveness. Our unit alone has crossed the mark of 1,500 intercepted Shahed strike UAVs. We have trained crews, proven tactics, and an effective application system. Additional drones and technical equipment will allow us to scale the geography of defense and save even more lives, enterprises, and cities of Ukraine,» said Oleksandr Yarmak, commander of the Darknode anti-Shahed battalion of the 412th Nemesis brigade.

According to the founder of the fund, Serhiy Prytula, they carefully studied the Ukrainian military technology market, tested many anti-shaheda solutions from different manufacturers, and selected the most effective ones.

«The brigades that will receive these drones will shoot down the Shahed as close as possible to the line of combat contact. And then further inland from it,» added Serhiy Prytula.

The first sets of equipment will be received by the 412th Nemesis Brigade, the Signum Unmanned Systems Battalion as part of the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade, the Azov Anti-Aircraft Missile and Artillery Division, the 1020th Anti-Aircraft Missile and Artillery Regiment, the Special Operations Center «A» of the Security Service of Ukraine, the 302nd Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade, the 3rd Separate Special Purpose Regiment, the 12th Separate Special Purpose Center, the 194th Separate Pontoon-Bridge Brigade, the 195th Support and Security Base, and the 762nd Separate Security Brigade.

In the future, it is planned to expand the program to other units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As previously reported by the Serhiy Prytula Foundation, the Defense Forces destroyed 258 Russian Merlin, ZALA-20, Lancet, Molniya, Skat, and Gerber UAVs thanks to the Taras-P interceptor drone.

Meanwhile, the enemy is actively implementing the technology of remote control of long-range drones via mesh networks, in particular in «shaheeds».
