Vyriy founder Oleksiy Babenko reported that in this way the company is actively expanding its ecosystem by purchasing shares in promising developers of UAVs and related technologies.
Babenko told Forbes about his investment plans. This is a continuation of an aggressive growth strategy, within which Vyriy has already acquired five companies in less than 2025.
Among Vyriy's recent acquisitions:
Cyber Droid: A Lviv-based manufacturer of logistics and evacuation ground robotic systems (GRS), acquired in June. Vyriy plans to invest up to $500,000 to launch its production, hire 100 more specialists, and bring the product to codification;
UAV developers: The company also acquired 51% in three drone developers: Blyskavka (an adapted version of the Russian Molniya strike UAV), Veresen (an FPV drone carrier), and the Sokil light reconnaissance drone;
Electronic components: According to YouControl, Vyriy also owns 51% in drone manufacturer RNA Solutions and in Synevir, a company specializing in electronic components.
“We only went into one company for 20%, we mostly buy either 50% or 100%,” Babenko explained Vyriy's investment strategy.
He added that the company is currently particularly interested in acquiring a developer of guidance systems.
Vyriy specializes in FPV drones, repeaters, and ground control stations. In December 2024, it announced a 10-inch FPV drone fully localized in Ukraine . It received motors from Motor-G, a video transmitter from December1, and a Kurbas-256 thermal imaging camera from Odd Systems.
This year, the company introduced its first ground-based drone, Dzhankoi, which is equipped with Starlink communication and can carry up to six fiber-optic FPV drones for ambush operations.
