TAF Industries has integrated an AI target detection and automatic homing module into its flagship FPV drones
The defense company TAF Industries, in partnership with the developer DOD Solution, has launched the updated FPV attack drone "Kolibri 10” Advance", equipped with the on-board AI module for automatic homing AURA AI.
The new system has already been successfully tested in combat conditions by soldiers of the 93rd Special Rifle Brigade "Kholodny Yar" and the 3rd Special Rifle Brigade. The drones are available for order by military units on the Brave1 Market platform, in particular through the "Drone Army Bonus" program.

How AI helps pilots
The solution is based on a single-board computer developed by DOD Solution, optimized for the operation of artificial intelligence algorithms directly on board the FPV drone. The AURA AI module is capable of detecting, recognizing, capturing and tracking both static and moving targets.
The main advantages of the system:
AI automatically recognizes different classes of vehicles and highlights potential threats with rectangles on the screen - this helps to spot objects that the pilot may have missed due to fatigue or difficult conditions;
After the pilot confirms the target selection, the drone performs the final approach to defeat completely autonomously. This allows it to effectively destroy enemy equipment and manpower even in conditions of active enemy interference, GPS jamming, or complete loss of video signal on the final trajectory;
The system takes over some of the complex piloting actions at the most crucial moment.
"The integration of AURA AI into our flagship drone "Kolibri 10” Advance" allows us to scale this technology and make it available to a larger number of Ukrainian military personnel. This takes Ukrainian FPV drones to a fundamentally new technological level," said Andriy Atamanenko, Product Owner of the FPV drones division of TAF Industries.
As emphasized by Roman Gapachilo, CEO of DOD Solution, in the future, the operator's role will be limited solely to setting tasks and controlling, while the drone will perform all key processes from takeoff to landing independently.
Availability on Brave1 Market and additional e-points
The “Kolibri 10” Advance” drone with the AURA AI module has already been added to the Brave1 Market catalog.
Military units can order these complexes for e-points as part of the "Drone Army Bonus" initiative. It is worth noting that additional e-points are awarded for confirmed kills using automatic guidance modules (AGMs), which will allow units to receive even more equipment for the front. Other configurations of the "Kolibri" drones with different video cameras and communication ranges are also available on the platform.
