"I have been automating finances for businesses for 13 years, and creating mobile applications for another 6 years. But when I tried to put my own finances in order, I realized that the existing solutions did not suit me. Then I started making an application for myself. When I saw that many people had the same problem, a personal tool grew into a product," says Radomir Novkovic, CEO of finerd.ai.
You can connect bank accounts, brokers, and crypto wallets to finerd. The application automatically updates transactions and balances, as well as the current value of investments and cryptocurrencies.
The service supports connecting banks from the EU, the USA and Canada. Monobank and PrivatBank are currently available in Ukraine. Other Ukrainian banks can be partially automated via Apple Pay.
The user can add cash, real estate, cars, and other assets manually.
Finerd also allows you to manage family finances and debt. Partners can independently determine which bills and expenses to share. Debts can be shared with friends to simplify the calculation of joint expenses.
One of finerd’s features is automatic categorization of transactions based on context. For example, spending 100 UAH at a gas station can be recognized as buying coffee, while 1000 UAH can be recognized as spending on fuel.
If the user changes the transaction category, the AI remembers this choice and can apply it to similar transactions in the future.
The service can also automatically find online orders in your email. Just take a picture of a paper receipt — finerd will recognize the goods in it and distribute the expenses by category.
The system automatically determines subscriptions and recurring payments and allows you to plan them in advance.
Finerd provides reports on income and expenses, budgets, cash flows, return on assets, and financial forecasts.
Separately, the service can be connected to ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI systems and ask them questions about your finances. For example, "Where can I save money?", "Can I afford a new car?", or "How much money will I have at the end of the year?".
AI accesses data from finerd and can analyze a user’s income, expenses, assets, and other financial metrics, looking for patterns and potential points for optimization.
“We are not trying to create the illusion that the application can predict the future. But for many people it is important to understand where their finances are going,” says Artem Borodatyuk, founder and CEO of FRACTAL.
Finerd’s basic features are free to use. They include expense and income tracking, budget planning, and some automation features.
For users who need detailed accounting of all finances, advanced automation, and work with AI, a Pro version is provided.
The team is positioning finerd.ai as an international product. Its previous project, Saldo Finance, became one of the popular financial apps in Ukraine and was focused on easier expense control.
finerd.ai has a broader vision — to give the user a complete picture of their finances, not just spending analytics. The team names Ukraine, Europe, the US, and Canada as priority markets.
