For a virtual fitting, you need to upload a full-length photo to Doppl and combine it with photos or screenshots of different outfits you are interested in. After the user selects the outfit they want to visualize, Doppl will create an image of a virtual version of the user, with a new look.
Doppl can also turn newly generated fashion images into AI-generated videos so you can better understand how an outfit would look on you in real life. The generated images can be saved to your phone's gallery or shared with friends.
“We hope Doppl will help you explore your style in new and exciting ways. As a Google Labs experiment, Doppl is in its early stages of development and may not always work correctly. The figure, appearance, and clothing details may not always be accurate,” Google representatives are quoted as warning by TechCrunch.
Doppl is currently available on iOS and Android for the US market only.
