“We don’t compete with the reporting market.” Ukrainian created AI startup for quick access to market analytics in the field of renewable energy: how does Greenvi AI work?
Ukrainian tech entrepreneur Stanislav Masevich created Greenvi AI, an AI startup that provides quick access to structured market analytics in the renewable energy sector. The project recently received €25,000 in funding from the European innovation support program Seeds of Bravery. The money will be used to develop the platform and prepare for entry into the US and EU markets.
The project is interesting because it was created single-handedly — by Stanislav. The company already has a client from the USA and is ready to scale further there. Currently, Stanislav is recruiting a team and processing requests for cooperation from 12 more companies from different countries. dev.ua spoke with the founder of the service, Stanislav Masevich, about the features of the AI solution and the prospects for the project’s development. Below is his direct speech.

How it all began
I have been working at the intersection of energy and digital technologies for over 10 years. My career has included projects on the development and construction of wind and solar power plants with international companies, advising investors on market entry and project evaluation, developing digital platforms for energy, and collaborating with the EBRD, World Bank, European Commission, OECD and Energy Community. I also led a team on a large project for global tech giant Korea Telecom, which was dedicated to the implementation of an advanced metering infrastructure using artificial intelligence.
While working with international companies in the renewable energy space, I saw a big problem: getting up-to-date analytics about green energy markets in different countries is an extremely slow, fragmented, and expensive process.
To make a decision to launch a new project or enter a new market, teams have to spend weeks or even months searching for information — who is building and where, what auctions are planned, what are the regulatory or financing conditions. And this is critically important to choose the right location for the construction of a new plant, to be one step ahead of competitors, to submit a proposal for a new project in a timely manner at an early stage if you are, for example, an EPC contractor, developer or equipment supplier. It was from this pain that the idea of creating a tool that would provide instant access to such insights came.
In November 2024, I was invited to participate in the YC Startup School in London. This event greatly influenced the understanding that it is necessary to build a global AI company for green energy. All this influenced the emergence of Greenvi AI — an AI platform for quick access to structured market analytics in the field of renewable energy.
In a few minutes the user receives:
market overview in the selected country (for example, solar energy in Spain or wind energy in Poland),
data on the latest projects and players with a classification of the stage at which these projects are,
constant updates on regulatory changes, investments, auctions,
and personalized recommendations for your role — developer, investor or EPC.
Greenvi AI helps you make decisions faster, expand opportunities for partnerships, and reduce research costs.
Solo startup assembles a team
I am the solo founder of Greenvi AI. I created the product myself from the very beginning: from an idea to a working version that is already publicly available and has its first users. I am a self-taught developer and had experience in creating web applications even before launching Greenvi AI.
I plan to bring two experienced AI engineers to the team in the near future, with whom I have had the opportunity to work before and whose approach to tasks I know well. They will help strengthen the product development in terms of building AI agents, machine learning, and working with user data. I also plan to bring data science specialists to the team.
I plan to hand over the CTO role after the first stage of growth, when we achieve stable product-market fit. This will allow me to focus on working with users, scaling to new markets, and building international partnerships, which is very important for the development of the platform.
Who needs Greenvi AI?
Greenvi AI is aimed at companies operating in the renewable energy sector — in particular those exploring new markets, participating in auctions, looking for partners or implementing new projects. These include: project developers, EPC and engineering companies, equipment suppliers, investors in solar, wind and storage systems, consulting firms supporting investments in the renewable energy sector.
These players need fast, structured and personalized access to analytics on markets, new projects, regulations, financing and tenders in different countries. This is exactly what Greenvi AI solves.
However, we also have strong competitors in the form of analytical agencies (e.g. BloombergNEF, Argus, IHS Markit, Wood Mackenzie), which provide deep strategic analytics and forecasts. They are excellent for analyzing macro trends, but less suited for operational work with dynamic queries and specific business decisions.
We also compete with platforms with project databases (IJGlobal, Clean Energy Pipeline) that provide a large amount of information. However, this data often requires additional manual analysis and is not tailored to a specific type of user.
Our competitors are, of course, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity. However, they work well with general queries, but do not take into account the specifics of the renewable energy market, do not have access to personalized data, do not have specialized AI agents, and are not adapted to the role of an EPC, developer, or investor.
Greenvi AI complements this ecosystem by focusing on four key benefits:
personalization for a specific user role (developer, investor, EPC);
quick access to structured and dynamic information;
AI-based analytics designed specifically for the renewable energy market;
access to up-to-date personalized data that adapts to real user requests — from project analysis to entering new markets.
We don’t compete with the reporting market — we create an action tool. Greenvi AI helps you make decisions, find opportunities, and move faster in the complex, fast-changing green energy environment.
What Greenvi AI can do
Greenvi AI already allows you to generate analytical reports by country and technology; research on PPAs, auctions, regulatory changes; insights on new renewable energy projects; personalized recommendations for entering new markets.
Let me give you a very common case of our user. For example, an engineering/EPC company from the USA wants to find the latest data on solar energy projects in Europe that are at an early stage in order to offer their services. With Greenvi AI, this can be done in a couple of minutes with the help of our AI agents. We are happy that we can automate what used to take a lot of time and cost a lot of money.
The startup recently attracted its first paying customer from the US, an engineering company that in turn works with companies like Tesla and General Electric. Another 12+ companies from Europe, Turkey, South Korea, and Ukraine have expressed interest and we will start holding demos with them, demonstrating all the latest updates. After the public launch, we receive requests for demos from many other companies.
Money and monetization
The product was created entirely in-house in 4 months. In April 2025, we received an EU Seeds of Bravery grant of €25,000, which will help us grow our team and develop new functionality based on AI agents.
The startup’s monetization model is subscription (SaaS). Currently, the early access tariff is $45/month. The plans include the launch of broader packages: $79–$269 per month, as well as corporate solutions. Functions for integration with CRM and automation of communications with potential partners are in development.
I want Greenvi AI to become a basic AI assistant in the daily work of companies working with renewable energy markets in different countries.
In the near future, I am focusing on three areas: strengthening the product, scaling geography, and expanding the team.
To this end, we plan to launch AI agents that will be able to analyze companies, find potential partners, and build strategies for entering new markets; integrate with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) so that the platform can work within the user’s existing business processes; expand the functionality for analyzing the user’s own documents — for example, commercial presentations, project portfolios, or Excel files; scale to the markets of the USA, the UK, and the European Union, where we already see interest in the product from investors, EPC companies, and developers; participate in international accelerators, as well as increase the team, including AI engineers, data science, and growth-oriented people — with a focus on building strong product expertise. By the way, we are currently in the process of creating a company in the UK.
Ukrainians have created an AI fitness messenger called ChAthlete, which motivates people to exercise. How is it structured? A competitor to BetterMe, Zing Ai, and Fitify, which plans to cover the sex-fitness niche and conquer users from 50 countries
