Headway Inc, a global EdTech company with Ukrainian roots, has attracted investment from leading investment company Horizon Capital.
The deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, was implemented through Horizon Capital Growth Fund IV (HCGF IV), which supports fast-growing technology and export-oriented companies in Central and Eastern Europe.
For Headway Inc, this investment is a continuation of a phased capital raising strategy to strengthen its position among the global leaders in consumer EdTech. The funds raised will be used to grow the company's products internationally, prepare for the opening of an office in the US, and further implement AI technologies.
“Integrating artificial intelligence today is a fundamental requirement for maintaining market leadership. The funds raised will allow Headway Inc to scale the development of AI-native products. However, technologies are only effective together with people. Therefore, we will direct a significant part of our investments to team development: from training to implementing AI in KPIs at the company-wide level. We are creating an infrastructure where algorithms automate routine processes, and specialists focus on creating unique value for hundreds of millions of users,” comments Anton Pavlovsky, founder and CEO of Headway Inc.
Although Headway Inc. is preparing to open an office in the United States, the company's technological core remains in Ukraine. The team has tripled in size since 2022, and in 2025, more than 150 specialists joined it. The company continues to expand its team, strengthening its expertise in working with data, artificial intelligence, and creating digital products.
Horizon Capital, with assets under management of $1.8 billion, invests with Ukrainian founders and international partners, particularly in IT. The fund's portfolio includes Ajax Systems, Creatio, Genesis, and Preply.
