Ukrposhta CEO Ihor Smilyansky continues to make controversial statements on social media. This time, in a discussion with Threads users, he questioned the mental health of Ukrainians who work for the «minimum wage.»
«If you are a healthy man or woman and today you work for the minimum wage, then, excuse me, you are crazy when there are millions of vacancies in Ukraine,» said the CEO of Ukrposhta, responding to users' accusations about his high salary and their call for him to work for the «minimum wage.»
Among other things, Smilyansky also published a picture with the salaries of some positions at Ukrposhta, recalling that when he came to the management, the salary at the postal operator was only $52.
When one of the social network users denied that a salary of 25,000 UAH was decent, and noted that he would like at least 80,000 UAH, Smilyansky assured that there are such salaries in the IT department of Ukrposhta.
