This was reported on his Telegram channel by the Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Danylo Hetmantsev.
«What the Cabinet of Ministers proposed is just the CM’s position, which we did not agree with. No, no invoices and no, no advance payment of taxes. Read the Committee’s decision!», Hetmantsev urged.
The chairman of the committee also addressed electronic platforms, which, in his opinion, «subvert the law by spreading false information.»
«If you don’t understand that due to the current norm on taxation of everything that moves, you and all your clients are in, to put it mildly, a vulnerable position, and the proposed law is in your and your clients' interests, I advise you to change lawyers,» he believes.
Recall that earlier the OLX platform noted that the draft law No. 14025 in question «threatens millions of Ukrainians who sell used things online, without a commercial purpose.»
«This is not about businesses, but about ordinary people who sell things like phones or clothes and offer others a more affordable option than buying new, especially in times of economic crisis. The law risks depriving people of a convenient and safe way to exchange used items,» the platform noted.
As dev.ua wrote, the Cabinet of Ministers plans to tax Glovo, OLX, and Uklon from January 1: the corresponding revenues have already been included in the 2026 budget.
In September, we also reported that the Svyrydenko government had introduced a bill into the Rada that would force OLX, Prom, and other digital platforms to report to the Tax Service the income of «accountable sellers.»
