«I draw special attention to those who, despite the obvious danger, continue to sell goods on the Internet without registration or avoiding issuing a check, to the fact that during 2024, 7,221 control purchases were made via the Internet,» Hetmantsev wrote in Telegram.
He added that the DPS added fines in the amount of UAH 106.6 million, of which UAH 47.3 million — in November.
Last year, the tax service warned that state registration of a business entity is mandatory for carrying out economic activities. The DPS warned that they are paying attention to conducting sales in social networks as well.
Taxpayers noted that social networks Facebook, Instagram and other Internet platforms have become «business platforms with powerful marketing tools» that Ukrainians use to remotely sell goods or provide services. The tax office reminded that a fine of 85,000 hryvnias with confiscation of manufactured products is provided for the violation.
Earlier, Danylo Hetmantsev said that the payers of the so-called «Google tax» declared more than UAH 3.1 billion in tax liabilities in the third quarter of this year, which is 7% more than in the previous quarter.
