«Encouraging news from the BEB regarding the de-shadowing of the gambling market. Following the results of the last meeting of our TSC, where numerous violations by the FAVBET company were revealed, the Bureau of Economic Security… has launched an investigation into a crime on the grounds of tax evasion and fees (Article 212 of the Criminal Code),» Getmantsev reported on his TG channel.
He added that investigations are also being conducted against the companies SPACEX, VBET UKRAINE, and GAMEDEV on charges of tax evasion and legalization (laundering) of property obtained by criminal means.
«And something tells me that in this body, due to the change in its leadership, it will no longer be possible to „solve“ as usual. For my part, I am preparing new episodes for broadcast regarding the illegal activities of gamers,» Hetmantsev promised.
Earlier, as dev.ua wrote, Hetmantsev announced the failure of the Ministry of Digital Affairs and PlayCity to implement the State Online Monitoring System to track financial transactions in the gambling sector, calling it «an unfortunate deja vu.»
