Ukrainian developer and manufacturer of secure communication systems HIMERA presented new products at the Ukrainian Armed Forces training grounds, the company told dev.ua.
Among the new products are products in addition to the G1 PRO tactical radios (launched in July 2023), namely the B1 network extender, the E1 internet extender, and the R1 repeater with the function of transmitting radio communication over the internet.
The B1 network extender is installed on towers, hills, masts, trees, drones, balloons, etc., thus providing a wider radio horizon. Due to this, the actual range of the network will depend on how high the B1 is raised.
The E1 Internet extender is our equivalent of a Wi-Fi bridge, the task of which is to bring Internet connectivity to the hottest parts of the front, where it is not possible to use existing solutions due to power supply, electronic warfare, etc.
R1 is a repeater with the ability to transmit radio and data over the Internet (supports IP). This solution will allow you to expand the data transmission network to the brigade level. It can be installed in headquarters, other cities, at long distances to receive communication from the immediate front line.
All products of our tactical communication system support all existing radio functionality and expand it. (PPRF and mesh network are available).
The company also reported on new results of the G1 PRO tactical radios. During the demonstration, they could not be fully detected by EPR and suppressed by EW. The company also noted that with the help of the B1 network extender lifted into the sky by a drone, communication became even better during the action of EW. Also, the G1 PRO radios worked while moving on armored vehicles, and transmitted voice and data.
