Kmit told Forbes Ukraine about this. According to him, the group has a tentative name of «Saint Charbel» and wants to create a holding company with a capitalization of $1 billion.
Mykola Kmit opened his first hotel in Morshyn, «Svyatiy Sharbel», with 93 rooms, together with Taras Kytsmey in 2019. Later, the chain expanded with the «Marble Palace» hotel in Morshyn and the «Play» resort near the village of Slavsko.
Kmit spoke about plans to expand the resort’s infrastructure for skiing, build new cottages and an apart-hotel with 100 rooms. In total, they plan to «create 40-50 houses.»
The first to appear will be a 5-star hotel in Truskavets with an area of 38,000 sq. m and a fund of 200 rooms. The co-owner of «Mukko» reported that its construction should be completed in 2-3 years; about $76 million ($2,000 per sq. m) will be invested in it.
Recall that earlier, SoftServe co-owner and co-founder Taras Kytsmey became a co-investor in a dairy farming project. His partner in the project was the founder of Morshynska and owner of the Mukko brand Mykola Kmit.
«Mykola invited me to build a cowshed for 2,000 cows. We are successfully building, in August we will launch the first stage and start purchasing cows,» Kitsmey said.
