HP and Ferrari have joined forces to create the HP Scuderia Ferrari AI PC, a premium laptop launched in time for the Monaco Grand Prix. The limited edition is aimed at those who appreciate exclusive design and engineering and is priced at $5,599.
As reported by Engadget, this laptop is the result of a two-year collaboration between the American computer manufacturer and the iconic Italian car brand.
The body of the device is made of anodized aluminum, and its bottom panel is made of carbon fiber (carbon fiber), similar to that used in supercars. The red coating of the top cover reproduces the signature Rosso Magma shine of the Ferrari Icona Daytona SP3. A design feature is a transparent section, called the «engine compartment», through which the processor and cooling system are visible. Nearby is a laser engraved number of the device within a limited edition of 5,000 units.
The laptop’s concentric hinge is inspired by the design of the Ferrari F76 digital hypercar and is optimized for airflow. In keeping with Ferrari’s «eyes on the road» concept, which aims to keep the user focused on their work, the device’s trackpad is made almost invisible when open, highlighted only by a thin line of light below the keyboard.
In terms of technical characteristics, the device is close to the professional mobile workstations of the HP Zbook line. It is powered by an Intel Core Ultra X7 processor with integrated Intel Arc graphics, equipped with 64 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. The laptop has a 14-inch 3K OLED touch screen and a keyboard with individual RGB backlighting, which uses the Ferrari brand font. Among the interfaces are two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB-C at 10 Gbps, a USB-A port, HDMI connectors and audio output.
«This is definitely the most glamorous AI PC I’ve seen yet,» said Engadget columnist Mat Smith, who tested the device at Ferrari’s London showroom.
The new product will go on sale on June 12, 2026 in several countries, including the US, UK, Italy and Japan. Buyers will receive the device in a gift box along with a leather case from Poltrona Frau — the same leather used to decorate the interiors of real Ferrari cars.
