Six months of special checks, polygraph and salary from $950. GUR is looking for Data Scientist, Full Stack, Android developers and OSINT analysts
The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine has opened a recruitment of IT specialists in several technical and digital areas. Among the vacancies are Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer, Full Stack (.NET + Angular), Front-end, Back-end and Android developers, OSINT analysts, as well as SMM Lead.

Among the vacancies are Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer, Full Stack (.NET + Angular), Front-end, Back-end and Android developers, OSINT analysts, as well as SMM Lead.
Most vacancies offer a salary starting at $950, military service under a contract or during mobilization, social guarantees, and opportunities for training and professional development.
However, there is a peculiarity: due to the specifics of the work, candidates will have to undergo a special test, which can last about six months. It includes, in particular, testing for professional and psychological suitability and a polygraph.
Who are they looking for?
The largest number of technical vacancies are open for developers and data specialists, writes DOU.
The Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer will work on ML models for big data analysis, prediction, classification, and NLP. Candidates are expected to have at least two years of experience, knowledge of Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow, experience working with Big Data, and English at B2 level.
Full Stack Developer (.NET + Angular) will develop server applications in .NET, Web APIs and interfaces in Angular. Three years of experience is required, knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL and Git.
There are also vacancies for Front-endandBack-end Developer. Front-end developers are expected to have experience with Angular, React or Vue.js, Docker and cloud platforms. Back-end specialists can work with almost any modern stack — among the listed Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, Kotlin, Swift and TypeScript.
Separately, GUR is looking for an Android developer who will work with applications in Kotlin or Java, Android SDK, and MVVM and Clean Architecture architectures.
In addition to engineering roles, there is an open position for an OSINT analyst. Candidates are expected to have experience with Maltego, SpiderFoot, GHunt, analytical thinking, and open source skills. Experience in investigative journalism would be an advantage.
The search is also ongoing for an SMM Lead, who will be responsible for digital communications, social media, and content strategy.
Conditions for candidates
For all vacancies, citizenship of Ukraine and compliance with the requirements for military service are mandatory.
The GUR notes that they may recruit several specialists for certain specialties at once. They also consider candidates from other IT specialties, even if their role is not in the published list of vacancies.
