Sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate told LIGA.net about a cyberattack by Ukrainian specialists on the website of the Tupolev design bureau, which is responsible for the development and construction of the terrorist country's strategic aviation. It is reported that the GUR monitored the design bureau's document flow for a long time, which allowed intelligence officers to gain access to 4.4 GB of critically important data.
The data obtained includes information about official correspondence of the company's management, personal data of the design bureau staff, residential addresses, resumes of engineers and designers, official data on procurement, minutes of closed meetings, and the like.
"The significance of the data obtained is difficult to overestimate. Now, in fact, there is nothing secret left in the activities of the Tupolev Design Bureau for Ukrainian intelligence. In particular, we have acquired comprehensive information about individuals who are directly involved in servicing Russian strategic aviation. The result will obviously be noticeable both on the ground and in the sky," LIGA.net quotes an interlocutor in the GUR.
In addition, the "Gurivtsy" on the design bureau's website congratulated the designers on the successful destruction of Russian strategic aviation, publishing an image of an owl (a symbol of Ukrainian intelligence) clutching an aircraft with its claws against a background of a spider web, which is a reference to the SBU operation of the same name.
As a reminder, the Security Service of Ukraine conducted a historic special operation on Russian territory, in which FPV drones taking off from trucks near airfields destroyed dozens of enemy aircraft that were carrying out attacks on Ukraine.
Yesterday, the SBU conducted another special operation aimed at destroying the Crimean Bridge. According to some reports, Marichka underwater drones may have been involved in this attack.
